Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Purpose
These terms and conditions of sale (the "Terms") govern the sale of the service offered on writetomyfutureself.com under the brand Letter to My Future Self, operated by MADP-RAVALEMENT (the "Seller"). The service lets you write a personal letter and schedule its delivery on a future date of your choice, from 1 to 15 years, by email or postal mail.
2. The service
The customer writes a message, chooses a delivery date (between 1 and 15 years from purchase) and a delivery format. The letter is stored encrypted and delivered on the chosen date. Purchase requires no account.
Available formats: digital email, printed postal letter, and personalized postal letter. For postal deliveries, the address is confirmed through a reminder sent a few weeks before delivery.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros (EUR), inclusive of tax where applicable. Payment is a one-time payment, with no subscription. Current formats and prices: digital email 3 EUR, postal letter 7 EUR, personalized postal letter 12 EUR.
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. The Seller does not store card details. The order is firm once payment is confirmed.
4. Delivery
Delivery takes place on the date chosen by the customer. As the minimum term is one year, no delivery falls due before twelve months. The Seller undertakes to use its best efforts to deliver on the exact date.
Email delivery depends on the validity of the address provided. Postal delivery depends on the accuracy of the address confirmed by the customer before sending. The Seller is not liable for a failed delivery caused by incorrect or outdated contact details that the customer did not update.
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with European consumer protection rules, the customer has a period of 14 days from purchase to withdraw and obtain a refund, unless the service has already been fully performed. Since the letter is not delivered before one year, this right may be exercised within 14 days of purchase by writing to Writetomyfutureself@gmail.com.
6. Letter content
The customer is solely responsible for the content they write. Any unlawful, defamatory, hateful content, or content infringing the rights of third parties, is prohibited. The Seller does not read the content of letters, which is kept encrypted, but reserves the right to cancel and refund an order in the event of manifestly abusive or illegal use.
7. Liability
The service involves long-term storage (up to 15 years). The Seller applies reasonable security and continuity measures, but its liability is limited to the amount paid for the order concerned. Uninterrupted availability of the service is not guaranteed against events of force majeure.
8. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law and complaints
These Terms are governed by French law. For any complaint, the customer may contact the Seller at Writetomyfutureself@gmail.com. Failing an agreement, consumers may use the European online dispute resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
